Still to small for the big girl chair in the tub!!
Teeth!
Gabby now offically has two bottom teeth. They broke through finally on the eve of the 13th. We heard one loud yelp in the middle of the night and when Jason was getting her dressed on Friday morning he could feel them. She has been such a good sport about them. She does want to chew on everything. You can't really see them to good here but I promise they are there!
We took Gabby to Destin Beach Florida this past weekend. Of course she loved it and was very good. Even for being off schedule. She got to ride on a shuttle at 11pm. Way pass her bed time and she of course woke up and was grinning from ear to ear. As if she knew whe was up too late and just loving every single minute of it. She was haming it up for sure. So cute! She had lots of babysitters while we were there and was full of smiles even with being off schedule all weekend.
We got Gabby to finally laugh for us tonight at dinner. She still won't laugh for us, just everyone else so it was very exciting!
We head to the doctor on Friday for her six month check up.

5 and a half months
I am starting to really see her two bottom teeth coming up. She has been better this week. Not so fussy as the previous weeks. Back to falling right asleep at night, thankfully. She is adjusting really well to her new daycare. What is also nice is that I can go there during the days she is there all day and feed her at least once. I love that. They all seem to really know Gabby and she seems to be very happy. This is her second week there. I am noticing today that she has a runny nose. Guess that didn't take long with 11 other babies around her. She doesn't have a fever so, so far so good!
I went to Chicago last weekend for Natascha's bachelorette party and Jason watched Gabby all on his own! Big day. They got up, went to Dunkin Donuts...I mean where else. Then he took her to Enrique's pool for the afternoon. I was so impressed. All by himself and his is being adventureous. He had a babysitter for Sat. night so he could go to the Braves game. This was our second time using a babysitter. The same girl and so far we think she is great. Nice to have someone you can feel comfortable with that is for sure. Gabby found both of her feet over the weekend. Monday she was even chewing on her big toe. So cute! Anytime she is lying on her back she is holding both feet. So cute!
Gabby is doing great now with tummy time and is continuing to improve on her sitting up. Still a drooling machine that is for sure. We go to the doctor in two weeks for her six month check up. Can you believe that? Time goes so fast.
Gabby still continues to laugh for everyone but me and Jason. Yesterday I fed her at daycare and she was laughing up a storm for Isabella who works there. She will smiling big for us but no giggles. I think she is doing this on purpose. Or, maybe we just aren't as funny as we think we are. Ha.
Her poop has gone back to once to twice a day. Normal again. Not sure what the deal is there. She is also up to six ounces in each bottle now! She is just growing so much. Her hair I swear is getting so long.

5 Months and counting!
Gabby is officially 5 months old! We weighed her today at Jason's coworkers house. They just happen to have a baby scale...so with her clothes on she was 13.51 pounds. So...We assume she is about 13. Who knows what was in that diaper of hers..ha..
She has been a little fussy the past week or so as she is starting to get the two front bottom teeth. I can see little white buds trying to come through. Her gums are hot and I can feel a little of the right one. She is starting to get diaper rash now, which our neighbor who is a doctor told us is very common when they are teething as the ph changes. So, we are on top of the Desitin and Triple butt paste. Not to mention I dried her butt today for about ten minutes with the hair dryer. Crazy I know but this is what my friend Angela, recommended. It worked on her kids so I want to stay ahead of the curve for sure.
We as usual have been on the go. Last weekend we went to Florida to visit the grandparents for Memorial Day. We also got to see The Ruble family at Ormand Beach. Gabby had her first experience in the pool and just loved it. She also got to meet Jason's Aunt Lorraine and Uncle Dick. They were very excited to meet her. She was bouncing in the jumper and talking up a storm for everyone of course. Jason's mom taught us to put an ice cube in a wash cloth to let her chew on it for teething..She loves it.
On this past Friday she had her very first babysitter. Of course she was a perfect angel. Thankfully!!! Babysitting is not cheap that is for sure. $13 an hour!! I mean how come it was okay for me to get paid $5 an hour for three kids plus. My word...
As you know we like to talk about Gabby's poop...She had switched from her very frequent schedule to once a day or once every other day..well the past four days she is going 4-7 times a day again. My word!!! She still is wanting to stand all the time and this weekend she talked all day long. Not kidding if she was awake, she was talking...She only will laugh for the daycare woman, for Momma Sue and our friend Leslie got her to giggle up a storm yesterday at the park. We can get her to shriek and smile but not truly giggle like they can.
Gabby has been awesome with her sleeping. We are still averaging 10-11 and a half hours!!!! She is still a cat napper during the day so I think this helps out a lot. You don't hear us complaining for one minute! She is so cute at night. We put her down on her back say good night..she smiles and then typically rolls to her left side, puts her feet on the bumper and hands under her face and goes to sleep within a few minutes. The past two night she screamed bloody murder for about 5 minutes then finally fell asleep. This is so out of character for her so we can only equate it to her teeth hurting. Poor thing. She is the same way in the morning if we have to wake her up, we just say her name and she rolls to her back, focuses and lots of big smiles! Oh..it is truly the best feeling in the world.
She really knows her name these days and is on the verge of sitting up unsupported. She can do it for a moment but then starts to have a big lean going on. She does much better in the bumbo now too. She will stay in there for about 10-15 minutes now before complaining. And it is official as of last week..she finally is fitting into her three month clothes! Better late then never, right?I had Gabby doing tummy time on Friday and she rolled from her tummy to her back one time. This is the first time I have seen this. I think because she was so irritated to be on her stomach she just did her great push up and then flipped over. Sadly, she wouldn't do it again for me but we keep trying everyday. She still does not like tummy time that is for sure. She has also discovered my hair in the past two weeks. Not fun!!! That grip is mighty strong when her fist in my hair!
Gabby is starting a new daycare tomorrow. So, we are nervous and anxious to see how it all goes. We are hopeful that she will thrive there and enjoy her new teachers.
I will get some pictures up soon of her from the beach last weekend. Too cute I must say!
